His Larkville Cinderella is a charmingly fun read about two unlikely people meeting in tinsletown and falling in Love.

When Megan arrives in Hollywood as a lowly design intern, her goals are to keep her head down and work hard so that she can land herself a job in Hollywood.
Adam noble is a rising star and Tinsletown's current golden boy.

Adam and Megan strike an unlikely friendship. Megan is down to earth gal a rarity in Hollywood; what starts out as friendship between the two quickly blossoms into lust.

Adam wants a fling while Megan dreams of marriage and commitment. The attraction between them is undeniably strong, they know they are completely wrong for each other but can't keep their hands off each other either.

His Larkville Cinderella is a modern twist to the age old fairy tale with great characters and an engaging storyline. A perfect addition to the Larkville Series.

So much about this book is predictable and rings of "haven't I read that somewhere before?" Yet it's fun! It's cute! And you won't have a diabetic attack while reading it!

Megan aspires to be a costume designer in Hollywood and realizes that starting at the bottom is what she must do. Her current job, as an assistant to a domineering designer, may not be glamorous, but it's another rung on the ladder. Some day, Megan believes, she will showcase her own designs in a film.

On this particular movie set, she meets cinematic heartthrob Adam, the object of many women's desire. Megan is not so much unimpressed as apathetic toward him. She recognizes that he's good looking, but she is focused on her career. Her very lack of fawning adoration attracts Adam, and he soon is in hot pursuit.

Yeah, you know what's going to happen. And you know there will be obstacles to their true love. But as much as you know exactly how this will play out, you'll still keep reading. Adam is more than just a hot actor; he is soulful (of course he is) and he really likes Megan. She resists him as much as she can, but she succumbs (of course she does). They're just so cute.

This is a sweet romance. Don't go looking for hot and steamy, because you won't find it here. But sometimes we need a little sweetness in the day, and this fits the bill nicely.

My interest in this book grew when I read a short summary where the main character, Megan, was interested in breaking into the world of costume design. Plus I had also read where the author had interviewed costume designers and workers for background in the book. I was hooked since I have worked as a costume specialist and dresser for several years at a local theme park. Although I have never designed costumes, I have done much of the drudge work that Megan did in the book (washing the costumes, labeling them, pulling clothes for extras or new people etc.). Therefore I had much empathy for Megan and was cheering her on. I thought the characters and the story events were written well. I do have to admit I didn't think at first that Adam was really the good guy that he turned out to be. While the story line was fairly predictable, the back drop of where it took place as well as some of the events made this an interesting and delightful read for me.

Is a sweet romance at times, a twist on Cinderella at times. At times I feel sorry for Megan and others proud of her.
This is a part of The Larkville Legacy. A eight book continuity series by different authors. It is the second one of the series I have read and far apart so I really didn't feel like they went together,
Megan Calhoun just graduated from collage. No one in her family came to her graduation which is sad. She has come to work as a intern on a film set for a costume designer.
She is working longer and harder than any job before and she is not getting paid to do it.
Adam Noble is the leading man. This is his first serious role, not an action role. He used to be a stuntman. He has grown up in Hollywood. Has short romances on sets he does not do long romances. He befriends Megan and enjoys her friendship.
Megan is waiting for her best friend to realize that she would make the perfect couple together. Then Rob calls her to tell about his new girl friend that she might be the one for him.
Adam's new leading lady Lane is engaged to the Producer of the movie. Lane is chasing after Adam she wants to be more to him. Adam is trying to work with her and stay out of her way. He does not want to get on the bad side of a powerful producer.
The story is interesting lots of relationships are developing on the set, at first Megan is so alone in hollywood and becomes friends with her co-workers even her boss who goes through tons of interns. I like how Megan is growing up and not afraid to be different any more. To fight for what she wants.
I would read more books from Melissa McClone based on this book. I would like to read the other books in the series and sees where they are all heading.

This is a good read and I love it when true love prevails as it does in this romantically sweet book by Ms. McClone. I enjoyed watching Adam and Megan take their journey to happily ever after.
