I was impressed with this novel especially since it gave me a greater insight into the psyche and mind of a troubled young woman. The pace was well set by pushing us into the story yet holding back enough by making us want more. All through the story, even in the brighter parts, there was this undercurrent of brooding darkness which one knew would come to fruition in some act of evil. When I reached the end I wasn't disappointed. Maybe there is another story of Astrid and Rose?I did feel the proofs needed further proofreading to detect textual/typographical errors regardless of whether they are in hard copies or electronically generated and probably best done by someone else other than the author prior to printing. The pages need to be numbered.

A fabulous book which takes you on a journey through the turmoil of a dangerous relationship and the effects mental health can cause you through out. Characters you can get to know as the book is well written with twist and turns. Loved the ending and the mystery that makes you keep reading to the end! So glad I came across this book.
